How to Get There
Plane
Paderborn Airport is well connected to Munich Airport (daily flights by LH). Check the online flight schedule for best connections to US and other destinations via Munich or direct holiday flights.
Paderborn is also close to several other major airports: Düsseldorf, Hannover, Frankfurt/Main (continue to Paderborn by train).
Train
You can reach Paderborn by train via Kassel, Dortmund or Bielefeld (ICE Stations). Check the DB website for connections and online ticketing.
From Paderborn main train station take any of the following buses to the university: Line 4 direction "Dahl", Line 9 direction "Kaukenberg", Line 68 direction "Schöne Aussicht". Further Information and schedules: www.padersprinter.de
Car
Paderborn is connected to the German highway system (A33). But a car is only necessary for exploring the region around Paderborn (for the workshop public transportation is sufficient).
